Partner WOD Wednesdays in November
Movember is almost here! No we’re not talking about growing goofy looking facial hair… At CrossFit Sandy Movember means it’s time to get your friends and family moving. We’re offering free classes to your friends and family every Wednesday in November. We’ll program a Partner WOD every Wednesday during the month. These WODs will be fun and challenging for experienced athletes, but also scaleable for novices.
Crossfit Sandy is pleased to announce the addition of CrossFit Endurance classes in November.
CrossFit Endurance is an endurance sport strength and conditioning program. This does not mean that we simply do long CrossFit WODs. We will train short, long, intervals and everything in between. We will train strength, speed, agility, endurance, stamina, power and coordination. We will train to increase aerobic capacity, increase mobility, enhance recovery rates and decrease potential for injuries
All endurance athletes are welcome, including but not limited to: runners, cyclists, mountain bikers, triathletes, swimmers and CrossFitters just looking for variety in their training.
Beginning November 3rd Endurance WODs will be scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. (concurrent with the Olympic Weightlifting class).
It’s time to get out of the gym and put our fitness to use! We’re running the Sandy City Turkey Trot 5k and we want you to join us.
When: Saturday, November 14th at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Lone Peak Park – 10140 South 700 East
Cost: $20 per person or $15 per person for 3 or more members of the same family
